Contract Lover

Seven years ago, ordinary girl Emily was framed at an engagement party and had an unexpected encounter with a mysterious man. She got pregnant and was expelled from her family, raising her son Jack alone while struggling to make ends meet. Seven years later, Emily works at a hotel to support her son and reunites with the mysterious man—top wealthy CEO Henry. Familiar with Emily yet confused, Henry proposes a contract relationship: pretend to be a couple to please his family, with a luxury villa and huge compensation as reward. Emily agrees for her son’s medical expenses. As they spend time together, the cold and domineering Henry gradually falls for Emily’s resilience and kindness. However, Sophia, the mastermind behind the seven-year plot, keeps plotting against Emily to seize Henry and the wealthy family status—exposing her single mother identity, staging car accidents, and framing her for plagiarism. Meanwhile, Jack suddenly develops leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant from his biological father, forcing Emily to reveal the truth of seven years ago. In the end, Henry recognizes his true feelings, exposes and takes down the scheming Sophia, resolves all misunderstandings with Emily, and they live happily together as a family of three.
